Space information was used in the implementation of various military maps and in providing information on the appropriate areas for the implementation of various military missions and in monitoring and tracking. It has also been used in espionage operations and the study of different areas outside the border.

Surveillance satellites provided the ability to monitor and control borders, which helped to reduce international conflicts, enabled security agencies to enforce laws, and restricted the movement of smugglers and illegal immigrants, thereby enhancing the security of individuals and communities. Space techniques have also helped to monitor conflict areas, monitor offenders and allow the international community to exercise fair control.
