NSSA Announce Winners
  • Objectives of the competition are:
    • Promote awareness on the importance of careers in space
    • Demonstrate the role of food scientists in preparing food for astronauts in space
    • Encourage children to engage in space science in fun ways
  • Nationality: Bahraini
  • Age: 7-12 years

  2. Submit work by July 20, 2021, in English or Arabic
  3. The work submitted should include the following:
    • Video
    • Recipe
    • Research Material
  4. Receive a confirmation of submission

The Top 3 advanced to virtual judging by prominent Bahraini Chefs Mahmoud Janahi and Hessa Humood Al Khalifa.

Each finalist’s demo video was shown followed by a 5-minute Q&A session with the judges. The recipes were evaluated based on the criteria of health and wellness, suitability for space and creativity.

All Top 3 winners received a plaque, an educational STEM/space toy, a certificate and souvenirs from NSSA.
